Re-inventing ourselves in entrepreneurship became even easier with the internet. In this time of technological advances, if you are not on the internet you are invisible. All the tools should be used in optimizing your multiple streams of income. What do I mean by that? You can have a brand with many products under that umbrella forming multiple streams of income. Using myself for example, I make hand-made jewelry, crochet products, create blog pages, business development consulting for companies, etc. Leaving key sales positions in fortune 500 companies, I learned day-to-day techniques for increasing sales, marketing, customer retention and services. I've offered my expertise to optimizing brands for others on many occasions; I know their results were notably increased without them letting me know. BASIC RULES FOR BUSINESS & INTERNET VISIBILITY
1) BE EVER PRESENT; in other words, don't give consumers a chance to forget your name (brand).
2) Be CONSISTANT in advertising strategies (most sales campaigns go from Wednesday to Sunday in the print world. You have the advantage of free ad daily through the internet).
3) PRESENT YOURSELF IN A UNIVERSAL MANNER unless your brand is targeted to a specific group.
4) BE POLITICALLY CORRECT. Your words can come back to bite you.
5) HEALTHY COMPETITION IS GREAT, no one does exactly what you do in they way you do it. People purchase YOU first in the world where your appearance counts.
6) BUYERS ARE SPONTANEOUS PURCHASERS in most cases, so strike while the iron is hot!
7) BUYERS WILL KEEP COMING BACK for that feel-good experience!
8) REMEMBER YOUR CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS (create a file with (birthdays, anniversaries, etc. and they will come back). A great tool is www.punchbowl.com. I've been called a geek for this one, but I do love this web site.
9) ALWAYS ASK FOR REFERRALS & HOW THEY HEARD ABOUT YOU, this will let you know which advertising source is working best for you.
BLOGS & PAGES AND SOCIAL NETWORKING
Social networks are excellent tools for getting the word out. Observing a topic that went viral on day was a group whose numbers climbed to 20,000 members in a week. This was amazing and a stroke of genius. You figure, if you can get 20,000 people in a week to participate in completing a sentence, that's the concentrated audience you can focus on for your product. An example for the topic of astrology can be; "You know Astrology is an Actual Science when...." or "You know Internet Marketing Works When..." Once you’ve captured that audience, that’s your client base. Remember, sales are a numbers game, for every 1,000 visible hits, you may get 30 responses.
Blogging topic lines and tag words are important. One great thing about blogging that most people don’t think about is once your page is done you can re-date and re-post in half the time. My suggestion for more visibility is to include the link to your blog at the end of each e-mail, ask friends to link on, “like” and write a comment for visibility. If you receive multiple hits, you’ll be notified to place advertisements on your blog to get paid by Ad Sense. By the way www.gmail.com is the best and most user friendly mail source because of the added features. Someone recently told me www.Google.com will be marketing their own notebook computer, and the reason why they offer so many features connected to their mail so they can be a one-stop internet search engine. You can link files, pictures, share Mp3 files, spreadsheets and more. These files can link directly to selected people in your mail list where either they can read or contribute to the links. NETWORKING, PROMOTING & TAG WORDS
Many people are just exposed to one social network and have little knowledge of how blogs and pages are viewed on the internet. To keep your brand first on the search engines, tag words play a big part in visibility. Blogs, Internet Talk Segments, and Websites can sit for months, even years without people seeing or hearing about them, so getting the word out is about your information is more important than the pages themselves. Giving credit to others who do an awesome job of networking & promotions on www.FaceBook.com, look at the following pages with the amount of people they reach in one click:

Creating a page on FB is The-Thing-To-Do; everybody has one, even mega corporations. Having a Twitter account can’t hurt either. Twitter has a different format than FB; however, it’s just as affective and you hear the name TWITTER everywhere in TV and radio commercials.
Opposed to costly print ads and circulars that get thrown in the garbage, you can advertise on the internet (world-wide) for virtually little to NO cost! This is where tag words come in. Here’s a great site explaining Tag Words, I couldn’t have given better examples:
Remember to always add your tag words; some of the most effective are Com, Free and New.
AUDIO COMMERCIALS
Audio Commercials = Technology Made Easy. Recording your work opposed to putting pen to paper was never easier, but remember to copyright, copyright, copyright. Intellectual property is important and should be protected. Many artists suffer great losses because they did not seek to protect their interest. Internet Radio Shows will be future Authority sources being quoted by others depending on the subject content. You may not view yourselves a professional or public figure that people will one day reference for information, but think of yourself as the hero/shero in the lives of your children who will brag to friends about what you do for a living. Your children will direct friends and others to your Internet Talk Shows one day, so remember your brands may be becoming house-hold words in the near future.
